During National Samosa Week this year, we will be setting up camp outside the multi-award winning Indian restaurant, Chutney Ivy. Our stall will be manned by the fantastic RAF chefs to provide the public with these tasty treats!
Speaking about hosting the stall this year, Shaf Islam, owner of Chutney Ivy, said: “We are extremely proud to again be taking part in National Samosa Week. This amazing event was born in Leicester by Pukaar News, and has since blown up onto the world stage! This year, we will be hosting the RAF chefs who will be preparing and cooking fresh samosas in our kitchen. We will be opening over the lunch time period to show our support so come on down to try some of these amazing Indian snacks.
“Of the samosas we sell over the week, we will be donating money to the National Samosa Week’s supported charities. We hope to see many of you there during the week!”
We will be donating 20% of the proceeds to our charity partners this year: Care of Police Survivors (otherwise known as COPS), and Crimestoppers.
So don’t forget to come and visit us for this year’s National Samosa Week 6-12 April 2020 to get involved!
